Since 1997 the Quality-Management-System of Hanseatische Waren Handelsgesellschaft is certified according EN 9100 / requirements for Aerospace.

In 1988 Hanseatische Waren Handelsgesellschaft was established. The founders and principals, Mr. Heinz-Werner Hempel and Robert Hempel, are involved in the production and in trading of ores, metals and ferro-alloys since some decades.

In 1997 the company STK, Stupino Titanium Company, Stupino/Russia, producer of ingots of Titanium alloys (grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 12 + 23 acc. to ASTM/AMS ) was founded. Hanseatische Waren Handelsgesellschaft holds 50 % of STK - shares.

Hanseatische Waren Handelsgesellschaft and STK are certified according to EN 9100 Aerospace series quality management systems, which are based on (and therefore include) ISO 9001. Furthermore STK is approved by the German TÜV according to AD-Merkblatt W 0/TRD 100 for pressure vessels.

Hanseatische Waren Handelsgesellschaft has established its reputation as a producer of high quality titanium ingots (billets, bars and wire rod → finished forged part).

We furthermore give support in finding solutions for technical problems in machining titanium-products. We also offer the possibility to develop titanium alloys for individual applications.

We are mainly serving following industry-ranges: Medicine, automotive, race-sport as well as offshore and chemistry.
